ClearSkin

What is ClearSkin?

You don’t have to live with chronic, severe, or stubborn acne. At Wilkes Rejuvenation MD, Dr. Simi Dev-Raman, is excited to offer an effective solution that uses powerful light wave energy to reduce and eliminate acne at the source.

Acne is most common among teenagers, but many adults and pregnant women suffer from long-term, persistent acne. Fluctuating or increased hormones and medications are the most common causes of acne. A diet high in fat or sugar can also contribute to acne.

What is Acne?

When too much oil, dead skin cells, and acne-causing bacteria interrupt the skin’s natural cleaning and regeneration process, red lumps, black or white-head lumps, and oozing pustules can appear on the skin, causing acne.

How it Works

The ClearSkin laser is an attachment to the powerful Harmony XL PRO. The ClearSkin laser is specially designed to combat all three acne catalysts, including excess sebum, dead skin cells, and bacteria. The laser treatment releases blocked pores with a built-in vacuum mechanism that gently cleans your skin surface while the laser works below the surface. Results are long-lasting and the procedure is virtually pain-free with no need for numbing gels, needles, or lengthy appointments.

Is ClearSkin Safe?

Unlike vigorous chemical cleaning and painful chemical peels, the ClearSkin laser treatment doesn’t strip the skin of its protective oils; it simply vacuums clogged pores and reduces sebum production in the process. ClearSkin is safe for all skin types and you’ll see visible long-lasting results after just 5 treatments.
